About us

Bonito Michoacán opened its doors in 1998, born from the dream of owner Ninfa, alongside her brothers Timoteo and Raul, and her husband Jesús. Together with their children, Ariana and Humberto, they built a restaurant that has become a beloved gathering place for families, friends, and visitors in Las Vegas.

Our menu is deeply rooted in tradition, featuring the recipes passed down from Ninfa’s, Timoteos and Raul's mother, dishes that carry the soul of our hometown, Turicato, Michoacán. From specialties like our Conac dish, Sarandeado, Steak Coca-Cola and San Juan Nuevo plate, every recipe tells a story of heritage, authenticity, and love for food. 

Before opening the restaurant, Ninfa studied law, while Jesús and Timoteo pursued careers as doctors in Mexico. Yet, upon moving to the United States, they dedicated themselves fully to the restaurant business, pouring their energy and discipline into making Bonito Michoacán thrive. Now, more than 27 years later, they still come to work daily with the same passion, commitment, and joy that inspired the very first day. Everything we make—and everything we do, is made with love.

We are especially proud of our long-standing team, many of whom have been with us for over two decades. More than coworkers, we are like a family, bound by shared dedication and gratitude for our guests. Serving this community has been the greatest honor, and we are thankful every day for the trust and loyalty you continue to show us.
